What’s involved

You will work on a varied client base in sectors such as property & construction, financial services and technology & digital.

At the heart of your role will be providing an efficient, client focussed and proactive service to meet the needs of private clients.

Managing the tax compliance function of your client portfolio will involve:

  • Reviewing personal tax returns prepared by more junior members of staff  and preparing complex compliance cases
  • Working with directors and managers on technical assignments
  • Managing your client portfolio day to day, including billing and monitoring work in progress
  • Building relationships with clients as a representative of the business. You will be the ‘face of BKL’ whilst carrying out the personal tax work and are expected to exemplify our core values throughout
  • There’s early responsibility with plenty of client contact and the freedom to manage how you work

What we’re looking for

You are a qualified tax adviser with experience in an accountancy practice and will have worked on tax compliance for at least five years, and at least three years post qualification. You have completed your tax qualification (CTA or ATT).

This role is particularly suited to people who like problem solving and a fast changing environment.
