Graduate/school leaver hire
Apprenticeships and graduate roles at BKL
The subject of your studies or your age is not important; what matters to us is that you are professional, well-organised and a clear communicator.
We like strength of mind, interest in the world, integrity, positivity and a willingness to collaborate. Energy and determination also form a strong part of what we look for. We want to deliver technical brilliance and expect you to have the ability to develop this.
We’re active, not passive in our consultancy. We’ll help you become an expert, too. Long term, our mutual success is based on it.
Official training
We’ll provide structured development on audit, accounts and tax, systems training and IT delivered by our own experts and the best external practitioners. We work closely with Kaplan, whose training encompasses leading online learning technologies, award-winning study materials and highly experienced tutors.
You’ll develop your wider interpersonal and professional skills again with internal and external providers. After you’ve qualified, we’ll continue to support your growth through additional professional qualifications, new development programmes, a range of work opportunities and careers guidance.

Learn through doing
The fastest way to learn is to get out there in the field, with real experience with a range of clients. Responsibility focuses the mind. We’ll give you the opportunity to work closely with our clients soon after you join. You’ll get hands-on experience on real projects so you can begin developing your interpersonal and professional skills straight after your induction. We believe ‘high challenge, high support’ is the most effective way to develop skills fast. We’ll give you that from the start.
Proximity to experts
We are committed to helping you develop technical, professional and leadership skills. Your manager will meet you for regular review meetings to track your progress. We also encourage a mentoring culture, and this begins with the partners: we give you as much exposure to them as possible. It’s a great way to learn.
