Tax Team Manager

You will be reviewing and supervising team members’ work providing timely, consistent and constructive feedback on an informal basis. You will assist in the recruitment & selection, management and training of team members. You will liaise with the Director of Personal Tax Compliance regarding the performance of the team. You will be responsible for raising bills on your portfolio and will be developing good working relationships with clients and team members.

What we’re looking for

You will be ATT and CTA qualified and have strong technical experience. You have experience managing others and the workload of a small tax team and are capable of designing internal processes and guiding others in the execution of the processes.

You have strong technical experience and are able to provide guidance to more junior tax team members. Due to the nature of our client base, in the Cambridge office this will be for more rural clients in combination with trusts.

Accounts Assistant

Your opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our team, reporting to the Financial Controller to work on a range of accounts payable duties and to act as the first point of contact for internal accounts queries.

You will have a varied role where core duties will include daily banking, processing invoices and recharging to clients if appropriate, bank reconciliations and managing payment runs for BKL and two smaller entities. You will deal with a range of people: clients, colleagues and suppliers. You will be trained on the job on financial accounting and reporting duties to assist the Financial Controller.

CRM Executive

Your opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CRM Executive to join our Marketing and Business Development team to drive the development and promotion of CRM, encouraging its adoption across the firm.

Reporting to the Marketing and Business Development Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the data within the Microsoft Dynamics CRM system and will have the support of a Database Assistant to help you achieve this.

You will be regarded as the CRM expert in the firm, providing support and guidance on the use of the system, and will develop strong relationships with our client managers, portfolio holders and other colleagues.

You will lead on projects including integrating CRM further with other systems and will ensure the software is maintained to high quality standards.

What we’re looking for

Your role will include diary management, screening and responding to incoming telephone calls and emails and taking action as appropriate. Facilities Assistant

Your opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Assistant to join our team, reporting to the Facilities Supervisor to provide support in the general upkeep of our offices and facilities.

You will have a varied role where core duties will include sorting post, scanning and filing documents into a document management system as necessary, ensuring stocks of office supplies are maintained, ensuring catering and refreshments are provided for meetings and that the rooms are set up accordingly as well as assisting with office moves; the role will require some heavy lifting. You will also provide cover for Reception as needed.

AAT Apprentice - Start date: August 2018

The opportunity

Are you interested in Accountancy?

If yes, then we can provide you with the opportunity to train towards your AAT exams, a recognised professional accountancy qualification, whilst gaining valuable on-the-job experience. We are now recruiting AAT Apprentices (Level 3 and 4) for our Outsourcing team to start in August 2018.

What we’re looking for

You need to be able to study and develop your thinking. You could demonstrate this ability through qualifications. For apprenticeship roles you would normally have, or expect to gain:

  • GCSE grades A to C
