Offshore disclosure facility

Readers will be aware of the facility to disclose offshore tax irregularities with the guarantee of a penalty fixed (in most cases) at 10%.  The window for disclosure was originally to have closed on 30 November: but HMRC have now decided that it will be extended to 4 January 2010.
