Myfanwy becomes a partner at BKL
A manager at North London chartered accountants and business advisers Berg Kaprow Lewis LLP has been promoted to partner aged just 30 after spending nine years with the firm.
Myfanwy Neville joined BKL in September 2001 after completing a degree in Mathematics at Imperial College, and was enrolled on the firm’s training programme, becoming a fully-qualified chartered accountant in 2004.
She gained invaluable experience in an audit, accounting and advisory capacity working with owner-managed business across a number of industries along the way, from a fledgling London art gallery to a large group of property trading and investment companies, together with other substantial privately owned groups with an international presence.
She became a manager in the audit department in 2005, was promoted to senior manager in 2008, before becoming a partner on 1 April this year.
Myfanwy said: “I’ve always been ambitious and hoped to become a partner in the future, but to achieve this so early on in my career is a great honour and I’m very excited by the opportunities it will bring.
“The other partners here at BKL have always been very supportive, giving me lots of advice on how to develop and further my career. I’m also lucky to work as part of such a talented team of people, from whom I continue to learn something new every day.
“I’m now looking forward to growing into my new role within the audit department; cementing a great relationship with my existing clients and building a client base of my own.”
Outside of work, Myfanwy loves to keep active with a fast-paced running and kick-boxing regime, which complements her love of seeking out and visiting new restaurants in the Capital.
BKL managing partner Brian Berg said: “We’re delighted that Myfanwy has agreed to come on board as a partner here at BKL.
“Over the past nine years she has proved an invaluable member of the team, working in a number of departments and providing a first-class service to our clients. We look forward to her playing an even bigger role in the success of the practice in future.”
